Markie Post — Biography

Markie Post spent her formative years in Walnut Creek, California before launching an entertainment career that spanned both television and film. Her work included hosting duties on game shows like Card Sharks beginning in 1978 and The New Card Sharks in 1986. Beyond on-camera work, she also served as a producer on the game show Double Dare in 1976. Her television appearances extended to various programs including the television film 1st to Die in 2003, the biographical series E! True Hollywood Story in 1996, and the superhero comedy Electra Woman and Dyna Girl in 2001. Her most prominent television role came when she portrayed Christine Sullivan on the sitcom Night Court starting in 1984. Post remained a regular presence on the series for eight years, appearing in a total of 156 episodes through 1992.
