Mayrin Villanueva — Biography

Mayrín Villanueva is a prominent Mexican actress known for her work in soap operas. She was born on October 8, 1970, in Mexico City, Mexico. Since her debut in 1997, she has featured in ten soap operas and six additional television shows. Villanueva has also graced the covers of various magazines throughout her career. At one point, she was in the running for the role of Julia Montaño in the 2004 telenovela Apuesta por un Amor, although that role ultimately went to fellow actress Patricia Manterola. In 1997, she tied the knot with actor Jorge Poza, and the couple welcomed twin children in August 2003. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2008. She later married her fellow actor Eduardo Santamarina, with whom she welcomed a daughter in 2009. By February 2025, Mayrín had amassed 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
