Sobre Miranda Cosgrove
Miranda Taylor Cosgrove entered the world on May 14, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. Her journey into the entertainment industry began early when an agent noticed her talent for singing and dancing while she was performing at a restaurant. This encounter led to her signing with an agent. Miranda's initial foray into acting included commercials for brands such as Mello Yello, Burger King, and McDonald's, as she auditioned for various roles. She ultimately earned her first significant role as the band's manager in the film School of Rock (2003). While working on School of Rock in New York, she received the exciting news that her pilot, Drake & Josh (2004), had been picked up. In that show, she portrayed Megan, the younger sister of the titular characters, while also making guest appearances on other Nickelodeon programs. Eventually, she starred in her own series on the network, iCarly (2007). The success of iCarly facilitated her entry into the music industry, leading to her recognition as an MTV Pop Rookie in 2009. Her debut album, "Sparks Fly," was released in 2010 and achieved #8 on the Billboard 200 chart, complemented by two EPs: "About You Now" in 2009 and "High Maintenance" in 2011. Miranda is also highly regarded for her philanthropic work. She is a dedicated supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, frequently visiting children's hospitals. Education Through Music ranks among her favorite charities. Furthermore, she serves as a national spokesperson for Light the Night Walk, an initiative aimed at raising awareness about blood cancer and leukemia. Miranda is also actively involved in Oceana, the largest international organization dedicated entirely to ocean conservation.
