Mischa Barton — Biography
Born with British, Irish, and American heritage, Mischa Barton has carved out a career in film, television, and theater. Her acting journey commenced on the theatrical boards, gracing productions like Tony Kushner's Slavs! and later taking center stage in James Lapine's Twelve Dreams at the renowned Lincoln Center in New York City. She ascended to pop culture prominence for her portrayal of Marissa Cooper in the hit television series The O.C. A passionate admirer of magic, Barton frequently collaborates with her magician acquaintances, lending her presence as a guest assistant for elaborate illusions, which have included being sawed in half or subjected to a guillotine.
