Born in Togo, Hogoé Kpessou made her way to the United States at the age of six. In October of 2020, she unveiled her eponymous brand, a venture born from her entrepreneurial spirit. Prior to this launch, Kpessou honed her craft and built an audience by selling candles and poetry books online, while simultaneously holding a position as a sales representative at Florida Blue. Her dedication extended to weekend work at a local eatery and deliveries for Uber Eats.

Today, Hogoé Kpessou stands as a luxury brand championing individuality, style, and self-expression through its inventive creations. The brand, with a name pronounced [ ho-go-eh-k-peh-sue ], draws deep inspiration from Kpessou's West African heritage, yet embraces a universal perspective. This fusion allows her to offer a unique viewpoint and craft enduring designs.
