Nicollette Sheridan — Biography

Born in England on November 21, 1963, Nicollette Sheridan is an actress with American citizenship. Her professional journey commenced in the world of fashion modeling. She then transitioned to acting, securing a part in the brief ABC primetime soap opera Paper Dolls in 1984, and also starring in the romantic comedy The Sure Thing released in 1985. Her breakthrough arrived with her portrayal of Paige Matheson in the CBS primetime soap opera Knots Landing, a role she held from 1986 to 1993 and for which she was honored with two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Following this success, Sheridan took on leading roles in a variety of television movies and miniseries, such as Lucky Chances in 1990, Virus in 1995, and The People Next Door in 1996. Her filmography also includes appearances in features like Noises Off (1992), Spy Hard (1996), Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), and Code Name: The Cleaner (2007). From 2004 to 2009, Sheridan played the character of Edie Britt in the ABC series Desperate Housewives, earning a Golden Globe nomination in 2005 for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film. More recently, she took on the role of Alexis Carrington in the 2018-2019 revival of Dynasty on The CW.
