Paige Summers, who was born Nancy Ann Coursey on July 21, 1976, in Lorain, Ohio, passed away on September 22, 2003. She was a noted American adult model, recognized as a former Penthouse Pet of the Month and later Pet of the Year. After relocating with her family to Morganton, North Carolina, she graduated from Freedom High School, where she earned the senior superlative for "Barbie Look-Alike." For her career in adult modeling, she adopted the name Paige Summers.
In 1995, she made her mark by featuring in multiple editions of High Society and Cheri magazines. Her journey in Penthouse began when she was honored as Pet of the Month in August 1996, but her significant moment came in 1998 when she was named Penthouse Pet of the Year, becoming the first model from North Carolina to receive this accolade. As part of her recognition, Kia Motors awarded her a Sportage SUV in exchange for promotional activities. Summers reported annual earnings of around half a million dollars.
She gained further visibility by appearing on The Howard Stern Show and in various Penthouse videos. Throughout her career, Nancy Coursey traveled internationally, including visits to India and Australia, while maintaining close ties with her family. By 2003, she had returned to Morganton to live with them. On October 11, 2002, she became engaged to local pharmacist and real estate entrepreneur Bracey Bobbitt.
Tragically, Paige Summers was found dead at her home on the shores of Lake James on the morning of September 22, 2003, from an overdose involving a combination of the painkillers codeine and oxycodone. She is always remembered as a captivating figure in the adult modeling world, blending extraordinary allure with a relatable charm that resonated with many.
