The captivating blonde performer known as Renate Hütte graced the screens of both German and American productions throughout the 1960s, utilizing the monikers Rena Horten and Renate Hutter. Her professional path intersected with the world of sexploitation cinema when she entered into a relationship and collaborated with director Russ Meyer. Hütte's cinematic journey commenced under the name Renate Hutter with a minor role in the 1962 German-French-Italian co-production, Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes, also known as Sherlock Holmes and the Deadly Necklace, a film helmed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee. Earlier, she had a brief appearance in the 1964 Edgar Wallace thriller, Zimmer 13, or Room 13, directed by Harald Reinl and featuring Joachim Fuchsberger. In that same year, she portrayed a sex worker in the risqué comedy Fanny Hill, a film starring Letícia Román and overseen by the renowned sexploitation auteur, Russ Meyer.
