Born on June 3, 1958, in Buffalo, New York, Suzie Plakson established herself as a multifaceted performer encompassing acting, singing, writing, and artistry. Her formative years were spent in Kingston, Pennsylvania, before she pursued higher education at Northwestern University. Plakson's artistic journey commenced on the theatrical stage. She notably took on four distinct roles alongside Anthony Newley in a touring revival of "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off." Her Broadway credits include portraying "Marquise Theresa Du Parc" in the production of "La Bête."
Throughout her career, Plakson has showcased her versatility by inhabiting a diverse array of characters. A memorable television engagement saw her as the sharp-witted sportswriter "Meg Tynan" in the sitcom "Love & War" (1992). Her vocal talents were also featured on the series "Dinosaurs" (1991), and she went on to embody four separate characters across various iterations of the "Star Trek" franchise. Beyond these established roles, Plakson made numerous guest appearances and recurring appearances in popular sitcoms such as "Mad About You" (1992) and "Everybody Loves Raymond" (1996). Her cinematic work includes roles in films like "Disclosure" (1994), "Red Eye" (2005), and "Wag the Dog" (1997).
As a writer and performer, Plakson developed and presented a solo allegorical show titled "An Evening with Eve." More recently, she has ventured into the music scene as a singer-songwriter, releasing the alternative country rock album "DidnWannaDoIt!", a project produced by Jay Ferguson.
