Tamara Taylor — Biography

Hailing from Canada, Tamara Taylor continues to actively engage in her acting profession, her career demonstrating ongoing vitality through film projects, live performances, and photographic endeavors. A significant turning point arrived when she secured a recurring part on the Fox series "Cinco en familia" in 1994. Following this breakthrough, her resume expanded to include appearances in notable productions such as Steven Bochco's "City of Angels" in 2000, "Hidden Hills" in 2002, "Perdidos" in 2004, "Numb3rs" in 2005, and the long-running procedural "NCIS" in 2003. She also joined the cast of the Fox program "Bones" in 2005, a show that achieved considerable success. Taylor further lent her talents to the cinematic world with a role in "Serenity" in 2005, a film extension of the popular series "Firefly." Her initial foray into feature films occurred in the Wayans brothers' romantic comedy "Experimento chiflado" in 1998. Within a year of that debut, she shared the screen with Halle Berry in "Dorothy Dandridge" in 1999 and later starred in Tyler Perry's commercially successful "Diario de una chiflada" in 2005.
