Zendaya — Biography
Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, professionally recognized simply as Zendaya, is a performer who works in both acting and music. Her achievements in the entertainment industry have earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards as well as a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine selected her for inclusion in its 2022 list of the world's 100 most influential individuals. Starting out in entertainment as a child working in modeling and as a backup dancer, Zendaya transitioned into television acting. She debuted on screen playing Rocky Blue in the Disney Channel comedy series Shake It Up, which aired from 2010 to 2013, and later took the lead role in another Disney Channel comedy called K.C. Undercover from 2015 to 2018. Her entry into feature films occurred in 2017 when she was cast as MJ in the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming. She would go on to reprise this character in the film's two sequels, released in 2019 and 2021 respectively, titled Far From Home and No Way Home. Zendaya is currently in a romantic relationship with Tom Holland, her co-star from the Spider-Man films, a fact he made public for the first time in November 2021.
