Rebecca Alie O'Connell, known professionally as Rebecca Romijn, was born on November 6, 1972. She is an American actress and former model who gained fame for her portrayal of Mystique in the original X-Men trilogy from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, she appeared as Joan in The Punisher (2004), which is also derived from Marvel Comics, and showcased her versatility through dual roles as Laure Ash and Lily Watts in the film Femme Fatale (2002). Moreover, she took on the character Una Chin-Riley in both Star Trek: Discovery (2019) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present). Her television credits include a recurring part as Alexis Meade in the series Ugly Betty.
