Under the stage name Risi Simms, she worked as a porn star from 2007 until 2015. Katz transitioned into professional cosplaying after winning IGN’s Best Cosplay award at WonderCon in 2012. The same year, she gained popularity on Twitch, thanks to her impressive cosplay endeavors, YouTube channel, charm, and humor. In 2013, she launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance a cosplay outfit, successfully raising $4,690, far exceeding her initial goal of $650.
