Ava Cadell — Biography

Born Ildikó Éva Csáth on June 15, 1956, Ava Cadell transitioned from a career in acting, writing, and production to become a prominent therapist and advocate for sexual wellness. She holds a doctorate in human behavior from Newport University in California, and a doctorate of education focused on human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. Establishing her base in Los Angeles, Cadell has dedicated herself to teaching, writing, and public speaking. In her private practice, she guides individuals and couples through a wide spectrum of personal challenges. These include navigating infidelity, overcoming issues with orgasm and performance, addressing sexual compulsion, resolving parental concerns, managing power struggles and anger, conquering fear of intimacy, and fostering better communication and desire.
