Avril Lund — Biography

Avril Lundberg, born on April 4, 1950 in Dublin, Ireland, became a notable Penthouse model and actress. Before achieving recognition in the adult magazine industry, she worked as a nurse at St. Francis Psychiatric Hospital in Haywards Heath and as a Sunday school teacher. At twenty-two years old, she was selected as Penthouse Pet of the Month for the March 1973 issue and subsequently named Pet of the Year in 1974. The Irish-born model was distinguished by her striking green eyes, black hair, and natural figure, with measurements of 35-23-35. Her Penthouse photographs were taken by founder Bob Guccione.
