Miou-Miou — Biography
This French performer, known universally by her stage name Miou-Miou, first captured widespread attention in 1974. Her role in Bertrand Blier's "Going Places" (Les Valseuses) launched her into the spotlight. Her celebrated performance in the 1979 drama "Memoirs of a French Whore" (La dérobade) earned her the prestigious César Award for Best Actress. Throughout her prolific career, she has graced the screen in well over one hundred films. Miou-Miou has never exchanged wedding vows. Her personal life has been notably connected to French actor Patrick Dewaere, with whom she shares her eldest daughter, Angèle. She also has a second daughter, Jeanne, from her relationship with French singer Julien Clerc.
